VI Radio is a really cool station for anyone who has not checked it out yet. In the future I intend on streaming the broadcast into the Red Beans and Dirty Rice chat room throughout the week. Also, beginning this Wednesday, January 18th, I will be playing music with an International flavor, ranging from Gospel and Blues to avante garde jazz, contemporary r&b, hip hop and African Beat. This is NOT a class but an informal setting for anyone who just wants to chill. I will also be playing tapes of old broadcasts from legendary radio programs from the West Coast such as KCRW's "Reggae Beat" and KDAY's "Mix Master Show"...in addition to original mixes and remixes of classic old skool jams...One Love...GS2006.
