Notebook , it’s been a while
These days without my sweet poetry
Is crampin’ my style
All the while I’m livin
Barely
Somehow
I smile
Despite this chaos inside
My tears no longer fall because of my pride
I ride this sucka like a bull
This life is harsh and oh so cruel
Without you
Poetry
My fingers yearn to stroke that stick
Back n forth yes I’m talkin bout my Bic
I’m sick without you
If I can’t spit tell me what else I’m gone do
All I know is one thing
One thing
And this one thing’s true
God I need some strength
Cause I got that
(Procrastinatin to long waitin idle mind entertainin satan gifts and talents too long latent and ever so impatient)
Writer’s block blues
God please use me
Cause the same way I’ve neglected poetry
I’ve fallen too far away from thee
It’s like I see my mistakes and what I’m doing wrong
Bu t once I get it straight
It’s back to that same ole song
I mean I could write a psalm
For all the good things I received lately
And all the tests and trials are really whats making me
Awaken me please
I need some refreshing
A sign a kiss
Or just a few more blessings
Please take this inadvertent indolence
My growth’s been spurtin and ever since
I’ve closed the curtin and put up a fence
That I need you to break down
I know now I’m not too lost that I can’t be found..
So please find me …
I’m sure there’s something left that u can use
But Jesus please just
Free me from this
(inconsistent laking persistence non resistant contradictin’ intermittent hissy fittin )
