I dedicate this one to my ex-boyfriend. 
This is the first of a book of poetry I plan to write, called "Through the eyes of a female adolescant."
Cup of tea
Wipe the mascara from my eyes and let me breathe
Watch my skirt hang past my knees
Sip your herbal escape and have it burn your tongue,
So it hurts to whisper your ugly words to me.
Let the juice of a mushroom drool all over your lips;
deny me my kiss.
Bow to a lovely nothing, passing by.
Catch my eye.
Truth is stranger than fiction;
stranger than the sentences of sweetness you read to me
Truth is saying, “He doesn’t love you.”
So pour your goddamn cup of tea.
