hmmm I'll have to think on this one (I've been without a mate for so long now ) It really has been a number of years since I receved a gift from a man. My platonic male friends usually e-card me. So far I'd have to say the best gift came from my youngest son last year. He made me a heart shaped pin, colored it red and wrote... I love you on it. Very impressive from someone in kindergarten! I wore it to work all day! ON THE FLIP SIDE..... I'm a romantic...I shower my loved ones with gifts. This year my eldest son will receive his "lemon drops" ( a pair of yellow diamond earings), my younger "babies " will get cards and candy, probably something else, My girlfriend in MA is my valentine this year, I sent her some Godiva Chocolates to be delivered. Other friends will receive cards and small gifts. OHHH I almost forgot I will cheer on my eldest son on during his basketball game Valentines' night against my old high school, how great is that?

This past Valentines day, my honey took me a romatic hotel with chocolate covered strawberries, champagne and roses waiting for me when I got off the plane. When I got back to work on Tuesday, he had roses, chocolates and a teddy bear delivered to my office, we live in different states so he is always doing little things like texting me saying I m thinking of you, sending kisses etc..
For him, I packed a valentines day bag, kicked him out of the room for 45 minutes, had rose petals on the bed, hershey kisses on the floor (symbolize I kiss the ground he walks on), personalized chocolates with his name on them, valentines day is also his birthday, silk pajamas waiting on the bed, lottery love cards and singing teddy bear with my picture in that signs my girl. I had floating heart candles in the tub and candles around the room with a oil burner going. He loved it.
I recently sent him a Mr. Incredible doll, with a card that stated to My Mr. Incredible, because you make me feel incredible. We do things to keep the fire alive.

| I can't sum one thing up...I would say the best thing that my girl did for me was simply listen in times I needed her to listen....that would be it.....money ain't that big to me..although I do want to be comfortable in life.....and I don''t go crazy over fancy stuff so when its me and my old lady chilling and only us enjoying the day than that would be the most romantic thing that she's done....we've done other stuff that people would say ohhhhh that's so romantic but....I am big on the chillin/ definitely the chillin!!

I got married in Barbados, and there were many romantic moments...lol One of many romantic moments in Barbados happened at a cove. I was on a raft relaxing and I fell asleep. I woke up when my man grabbed the raft before I went under the waterfall...lol My hero for life!!! I gave him the kiss of a lifetime and we had a good laugh...hahaha The most romantic thing I did for him was taking him to the Magic Time Machine in San Antonio. I wouldn't tell him where we were going, and he was so excited and surprised.
