LEMON LUSH
Ingredients:
1 STICK OF BUTTER
1 CUP FLOUR
6 OZ PACK OF CHOPPED NUTS (WALNUTS, ALMONDS, PECANS – YOUR CHOICE)
1 – 8OZ PACK OF CREAM CHEESE
1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR
1 TABLESPOON GRANULATED SUGAR
2 PACKS LEMON PUDDING (COOKED – NOT INSTANT)
Make lemon pudding according to box directions and allow to completely cool.
First Layer:
Combine butter, granulated sugar, flour, and ½ cup chopped nuts in a bowl. Press this mixture into a 9x13–inch baking dish. Bake about 20 minutes in a 350 degree oven until lightly browned. Set aside to cool completely.
Second Layer:
Blend together 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, 1 cup whipped topping, and 1 cup powdered sugar. Spread carefully over cooled crust.
Third Layer:
Spread lemon pudding over above mixture.
Fourth Layer:
Top with enough whipped topping to cover. Sprinkle with more nuts.
Refrigerate.
