Anyway I got a call today and the question asked was "What ya going to fit for the Superbowl"....lol :) So I'm a veggie and I never get to enjoy what I fit , everyone else enjoy it to the fullest, so here is my Menu

Super Bowl Menu

Staring off with Chips, Crackers, Celery, Carrots,  and Veggie dips, I always have several bowls of pre-cut veggie in the frige, because this platters runs low fast,

Veggie Dip:

Lipton Vegetable Soup

Yield: 1 servings
1 ea Lipton Vegetable Soup
1 ea Sour cream
Place in the fridge for about one hour

I make about 5 to 6 bowl..lol..yeah I gotta big family, and they bring friends

Pre-Game Warm Up : Hot Wings

8  pounds chicken wings
 1/2  cup butter, melted
 1/2  cup hot pepper sauce
 4  tablespoons white vinegar
 1 tablespoon salt
15  celery stalks, cut into 4-inch pieces
2 cup prepared blue cheese dressing

Remove wing tips;Cut each wing at joint, making 2 wing parts. Arrange chicken wing parts in single layer on greased rack in shallow rimmed baking sheet or 10x15x1-inch pan. Bake at 400°F until brown and crisp, about 1 hour, turning once. In large bowl combine butter, hot pepper sauce, vinegar and salt. Add cooked wings and gently toss until well coated. Serve immediately with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing. Dip wings and celery sticks in dressing.

Coney Island-Chili Dogs (got this off a cooking show, plus I added to it )

2 pound lean ground beef
2 (12-ounce) jar chili sauce
2 (1.48-ounce) packet chili seasoning
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon onion powder
16 beef hot dogs or more
16 hot dog buns or more
Shredded Cheddar, to serve
Chopped white onion,

In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef stirring constantly to break up all the clumps into fine pieces.
Add the chili seasoning, water, Worcestershire, mustard and onion powder. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 30 minutes.

Now I will be doubling this one

Drinks: Ice Tea, Juice, Water, and BYOB :)

And for desert my Ice Cream Cake, and pudding

So I try to keep everything close to finger food, so that everyone can set around the Telly, shout and talk junk, and so on :). Anyway this is a start,

My Super bowl Menu is similar to yours.

We have the standards: Veggie tray (broc. carrots, celery, cauliflower, cucumbers), Chips, pretzels, Party wings (bbq, hot), drinks, etc.

THEN I ADD MOM'S FAMOUS NACHOS (depending upon the number of people the ingredient amount may vary)

brown and season 1lb of ground beef(chuck) drain off excess fat then add one can of fat free refried beans. Stir on low heat until mixture is warm.

then for other toppings: I dice fresh roma tomatos, onions, jalepinos. I also have sour cream, premade salsa, shredded cheese mexican blend. Melted cheese sauce ie velveeta or a nacho cheese sauce.

I use stone ground tortilla chips in blue or traditional.  My guest usually "build" their own creation, as mom is not responsible for over indulgence!

Dessert......A football cake or cupcakes.

Enjoy the game!
