When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, and said unto him, go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. John 9:6-7
Thought for the Day: Obedience Brings Blessings
Reflection for the Day: God Knows What He Is Doing
Others watch curiously as Jesus speaks to a blind man. This man who has lived without sight his entire life is anointed by the Master and is told to go wash in the pool of Siloam. He does not know why all this is happening, but obeys the directions. Those that watched, his parents, and the man are all amazed as he can now see. The Lord knew exactly what He was doing.
Some of what the Lord tells you will make complete sense other things will not. The key is obedience. If you are assured it is the Lord speaking do not hesitate to obey. He is quite aware of what He is doing, and the results that will occur. Your job is to obey and enjoy the blessings that come to those that follow His directions.
I too believe that it is best to be obedient to GOD's word than to take grace for granted.
Thanks for sharing!
